1. Finland’s Hall

This Hall is a concert and convention hall that was designed by Alvar Aalto and was built-in 1971. North of the Municipal Museum in Helsinki, on the edge of Töölö Bay (Töölönlahti), is Finlandia Hall, a concert and convention hall designed by Alvar Aalto and built in 1971 with the white marble facade of Carrara. Marble is also used inside the structure. Details appear on hardwood and ceramics. The main concert auditorium is an amazing site and is famous for its acoustics. Another prominent feature is the wide Venetian stairs that lead from the ground floor to the main auditorium and chamber music room.

A beautiful seaside town, 130 kilometers west of the capital of Finland. The architecture of this city will reveal its history with a mixture of Swedish and Russian styles. The city of Hanko is flooded with amazing cafes and restaurants.

3. Ateneum (Finnish National Gallery)

On the southern side of Helsinki's Station Square is the National Museum of Art, usually known as Ateneum after the name of the impressive neoclassical building it inhabits. The same building also houses the famous Academy of the Finnish Arts. Designed by Theodor Höijer and completed in 1887, Ateneum keeps a collection of the best Finnish historic works of art and contemporary art in his gallery.

To the north of the Finnish Hall, at the top of Töölönlahti lake is the old Trade Fair Hall, and beyond this is the Olympic Stadium (1938), with a tower as high as 72 meters from where there is a beautiful view of the city - and an elevator. Finland was awarded the Olympics before the advent of World War II and the Soviet invasion of the country.

Canceled during the war, the Olympics were finally held in Helsinki in 1952. Inside the stadium is the Finnish Sports Museum, and at the front entrance is a statue of the great Finnish Olympic runner, Paavo Nurmi (1897-1973). To the east is the Swimming Stadium, and to the north, the Ice Stadium. Outside the lawn, in front of the Swimming Stadium lies the City Park, a sea of flowers in summer and the perfect place for a picnic. Swimming Stadium is open for visitors in summer with very good facilities.

5. Market Square (Kauppatori)

Market Square (Kauppatori) is the main planned and paved square in central Helsinki and is one of the most famous outdoor markets in northern Europe. Limiting the Baltic Sea, at the eastern end of Esplanadi, it is full of stands that sell Finnish food, flowers, and tourist souvenirs, and there are often fishing boats lined up in the water selling seafood directly from boats. In winter, market stalls are protected under tents, and there are market halls all year round with more traders. Visitors must pay close attention to their food, seagulls in large and impudent markets and will pick food from unsuspecting visitors.

One of the historical tours that must be visited is Suomenlinna. The fortified island named Suomenlinna is part of the City of Helsinki. Sveaborg Fortress (Swedish Castle) dominates Suomenlinna. Fort Sveaborg Suomenlinna is included in the list of UNESCO world heritage monuments.

It is an amusement park with more than 50 rides and roller coasters, as well as monorails and towers with beautiful views. It is located in the east of the Olympic Stadium in Helsinki. The park opened on May 27, 1950, and it is owned by Lasten Päivän Säätiö. Do not need to worry if you are hungry because you can also find restaurants there, complete with many shops. If you want to visit a unique church, go to Temppeliaukio Kirkko or Church of the Rock. This is an amazing Lutheran church that was built into solid stone in the 20th century. The first construction began in the 1930s, then stopped during World War II. It started again in 1968 after the second design competition. The result is an interior built of solid stone, with sunlight flowing down through the copper dome; Morning is a good time to visit when sunlight illuminates the interior. The church has very good acoustics and is often used as a concert venue.

White Cathedral in Helsinki is an impressive site when the sky is blue. This church was designed by the same architect who designed Senate Square. It was originally called the Church of St. Nicholas after the Russian tsar, but his name was changed when Finland gained independence from Russia in 1917, this neoclassical Lutheran Church, which is reminiscent of ancient Greek buildings, is located in the Senate Square. Founded in the 1880s, the Korkeasaari Zoo is one of the oldest in the world and has a prime place for exceptional breeding programs for endangered species. The mission began with the building itself, an unusual shaped structure designed by Americans whose vision defeated 515 competitors in 1993. The Kiasma Museum, located near Parliament in downtown Helsinki, is part of the National Gallery of Finland. Inside you will find works by more than 4,000 artists in rectangular rooms with curved walls to promote silence to enhance the enjoyment of art. Changed exhibits make visitors return.

If you look for solitude for a moment in busy Helsinki, you will find it in the Kamppi Chapel, also known as the Silent Chapel.
